Rangers Arctic Challenge

Rangers Arctic Challenge 2011

Sledding over 200 kilometres from your base camp into the wilds of Norway, north of the Arctic Circle, with your own team of huskies - this event could be your ultimate challenge!

dogs-3-body-copy.gifFollowing the huge success of the Rangers Arctic Challenge in 2009 with a team which included former Rangers player Alex Rae and Chief Executive Martin Bain, the Rangers Charity Foundation has secured a second exclusive Arctic Challenge event with experienced adventure company Across The Divide to take place in February 2011.

Participants will cross mountainous terrain, frozen lakes and pack ice and snow and face temperatures of up to -30°C in what is a true test of endurance and team work.  Each team member will also be responsible for the feeding and care of our own husky dogs during the week long challenge and will receive expert training in their handling. northern-lightsbody.gif
