Foundation Salutes Duke of Edinburgh Achievers
Rangers legend Mark Hateley represented the Rangers Charity Foundation in Edinburgh recently at an event to recognise the achievement of hundreds of young people who secured their Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
HRH The Duke of Edinburgh presented the awards to each young person, who participated in a diverse range of activities over at least 18 months in five categories - volunteering, physical, skills, expedition and residential.
The Foundation was delighted to show its support for the Duke of Edinburgh’s awards scheme, which encourages young people to learn more about themselves and work together for their own benefit and that of their local communities.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award supports over 275,000 people aged 14-24 every year from every background. |
