Thanks For Your Support!
The Light Blue legions once again showed their tremendous backing for the Rangers Charity Foundation at Saturday’s game against Motherwell when volunteers collected £5,300 for the Foundation through a Christmas Can Collection at the turnstiles and special raffles in a number of the hospitality suites prior to kick off.
“I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped make the collection such a huge success, both to the fans who donated and to all the volunteers who came on the day to help shake collection buckets at the turnstiles,” commented Charity Foundation Manager Connal Cochrane.
“We couldn’t do it without all your support and this total will certainly be a very welcome boost to our fundraising efforts for our three charity partners and all the other individuals and organisations we assist throughout the year.”
The Rangers Charity Foundation unveiled a three year partnership with UNICEF last season in support of an ambitious education project in India and will shortly be announcing an update on how this project is gathering pace. Meanwhile in Scotland the Foundation is working closely with both Glasgow Old People’s Welfare Association and Teenage Cancer Trust to ensure that our season-long partnerships reach their full potential.
