What We Do - Community Grants Scheme |
Community Grants Scheme
To celebrate our 5th anniversary in Season 2007/08 the Foundation launched the Rangers Community Grants scheme for community groups in and around the Ibrox area. The scheme proved hugely successful and has now donated over £46,000 over two years to a range of grassroots projects.
Groups such as The Pierce Institute, Sunny Govan Radio, St Andrews Ambulance, the Govan Fair Association, Whitefiled Road Community Hall and the Govan Care Project have all benefited.
The scheme is designed to support grassroots community activity within the following priority areas:
- Needs of Children
- Education
- Social Inclusion
- Encouraging Tolerance and Understanding of others and their beliefs
- Health and Well-being
Groups within the Govan and Craigton Community Planning Partnership area can benefit from grants of between £500 and £3,000. If you are a local group in the Govan and Craigton area and would like us to find out more, please contact the Foundation on 0141 580 8775 or send an email to
