Challenge Yourself!
The charities we support each year have benefitted from funds raised from activities such as abseiling, body waxing, running in the women's 10K and even diving with sharks! So if you have ever wanted to go white water rafting, climb Ben Nevis or bungee jump from 150 feet, now is your chance to take the plunge and raise money for a good cause at the same time.
A list of different ideas for personal challenges are listed below, but of course you can always dream up your own event – the more unique to you the better! Some case studies are also shown below to hopefully provide you with some inspiration and show just how much difference undertaking a personal challenge can make – both to the participant and to the charities supported.
The Munro Challenge
In 2008, Rangers Charity Foundation Manager Connal Cochrane set himself the daunting challenge of climbing 100 munros over the course of the year to raise funds for the Foundation and was joined by staff and fans for a special climb in May up Ben Lomond.
