Pedal For Scotland

Fri 26th May 2017

Why not take on Scotland’s biggest bike event, raise funds for the Foundation and become a True Blue Hero?

We’re looking for supporters to sign up for Pedal For Scotland’s classic Glasgow to Edinburgh cycle on 10th September, which is now in its 19th year and takes in Scotland’s two largest city’s via a stunning countryside route.

The classic 45 mile route is the event’s most popular ride and over 6,500 cyclists took part in 2016.  It’s the perfect challenge for both regular riders and those who haven’t cycled in a while – a few weeks training is enough to get in shape.  However, there are also other distances available as part of the event, including a 93 mile route and shorter cycles in Perth and Edinburgh.

There are rest stops approximately every ten miles or so serving free refreshments and at the end of the ride there’s entertainment, stalls and of course your well-deserved medal!

Transport can also be booked to get you and your bike to the start at Glasgow Green, or home from the finish line in Edinburgh.

Every rider who raises more than £100 in sponsorship for the Foundation will also become a True Blue Hero and will receive a special medal from a first team player at one of our popular reception events.

If you’d love to take on this challenge and raise funds for the Rangers Charity Foundation, enter now here.  Once you have your place get in touch with us and we will help you organise sponsorship.  Help us make the world of difference to people across the world and here in Scotland!
