The Rangers Charity Foundation is planning a new Walking Football programme for men aged 50 and over who want to get more active and enjoy the social aspects that being part of a club can deliver.

Walking Football is a relatively new, innovative and fast growing version of the sport which allows participants to play the game they love without the same risk of injury or level of exertion.  Walking Football is non-contact and is a great way to keep fit, learn skills and have fun.

If you loved to play football but now find playing too demanding, or if you’re new to the game and want to give it a go, this slower version of the beautiful game could be for you!

If you would be interested in taking part or learning more about the programme please e-mail rangerscharity@rangers.co.uk or call 0141 580 8775 for further information.

This Programme will also be included in a research project in partnership with The University of the West of Scotland.
