Proud to Stand Together: Rangers Join Thousands for Glasgow Pride
Mon 21st July 2025
As part of its continued dedication to promoting diversity and inclusion, and in support of the Everyone Anyone campaign, representatives from Rangers Football Club, the Rangers Charity Foundation, and members of the Ibrox Pride supporters’ group proudly took part in Glasgow’s Pride 30th Anniversary March on Saturday 19th July 2025.
Foundation Operations Manager, Linda Sinclair, who marched on the day said:
“It’s always a powerful experience to be part of Pride, and this year’s anniversary made it even more special. As a club and a Foundation, we’re proud to stand alongside the LGBT+ community and show that football truly is for everyone and anyone.”
Joining thousands of participants, staff and fans marched in solidarity with the LGBT+ community, celebrating the strides made towards equality and standing up for human rights around the world.
The vibrant procession made its way from Kelvingrove Park to the iconic Barrowlands, where celebrations continued in style. The Barras markets were once again transformed into a colourful Pride Market and Hub, filled with stalls, live entertainment, and a festive atmosphere for all to enjoy.
Familiar faces in attendance included Still Game star Greg Hemphill, along with hosts Bev Lyons, Miss Bella Houston, Lee Cammy, and Garry King, who helped keep the energy high throughout the day.
Rangers staff and supporters were invited to show their support by wearing branded T-shirts and walking behind a specially designed banner bearing the message: “We are proud to be for everyone and anyone.”
