Well done to our Strathclyde Park Loch Zipsliders
Thu 20th August 2026
A huge well done to our brave participants, including club and Foundation staff as well as Rangers legend Lee McCulloch, who took on the adrenaline challenge of ziplining across Strathclyde Park Loch on Friday 14th August.
Participants were raised up in a cage on a crane and from 100 feet up, then ziplined over the Loch for 1,000 feet, taking in the breathtaking views across the park and beyond.
Ages ranged 13 from to 69 and included participants from Foundation community programmes Football Memories and Football Fans in training.
Lee McCulloch said:
“I was a bit nervous and it was windy going up but I really enjoyed it and it was great to meet the participants. Some were really scared of heights and overcame their fears to raise funds for the Foundation. It really is an amazing charity who do so much in the local community and far beyond.”
Participant Becca who did the ziplide with her son Jayden said:
“I was motivated to do it because the Foundation donates to the Children’s Hospital every year.
That cage was horrible because it moves in the air so I had to get some words of wisdom while I was waiting but once you step off it was so much fun, I could go again!”
All funds raised will help the Foundation continue our life-changing work in the local community and beyond on behalf of the Rangers Family.
