Team Talk
The Team Talk programme provides free mental wellbeing support across three different facets of delivery. Team Talk is delivered in-person and online for those unable to attend Ibrox with a separate Team Talk Football session taking place on Monday’s. UNIBET funds the programme, and the Rangers Charity Foundation delivers it to help people improve their wellbeing, resilience, and social connections.
What Happens at Team Talk online?
Each hour and a half session combines conversation and activity to support mental health. Team Talk online is open to men only who are aged 18 and over and is delivered every Wednesday between 6:00pm and 7:30pm
- Chat: Men engage in relaxed group discussions about life, football, work, relationships, and mental health.
What Happens at Team Talk in-person?
Each two-hour session combines conversation and activity to support mental health. The next in-person programme will be available for signups in early 2027. Again, this programme is open to men aged 18 and over.
-
Hour 1 – Chat: Men engage in relaxed group discussions about life, football, work, relationships, and mental health.
-
Hour 2 – Choice: Participants select either light physical activity or wellbeing discussions, including coping strategies, motivation, and stress management.
Additionally, the group is friendly and supportive. Participants do not need to be football fans or physically active — they just need to be willing to connect with others.
Why Team Talk Matters
Many men face mental health challenges in silence and hesitate to seek help. Therefore, Team Talk offers weekly support to build confidence, resilience, and social connections. Additionally, the programme is part of the Foundation’s “Healthier Lives” initiative, reflecting Rangers Football Club’s ongoing commitment to the local community.
Getting Involved
Team Talk welcomes men aged 18+ across Glasgow. Sessions run virtually and in-person, making it easy to join from home or stop into Ibrox if you live locally. For more information or to register your interest, email rangerscharity@rangers.co.uk.
The programme is proudly funded by UNIBET, which ensures sessions remain free, accessible, and sustainable. Furthermore, their support highlights a shared commitment to improving mental wellbeing in football communities and reducing stigma around seeking help.
