FFIT For Life

FFIT For Life is a continuation programme for graduates of the Rangers Charity Foundation’s Football Fans In Training (FFIT) programme. Our participants have enjoyed the original course so much, and achieved such dramatic health improvements, that many wanted to continue meeting regularly to exercise together.

This follow-up initiative provides ongoing health and fitness support in Glasgow for people aged 35–65, helping them stay motivated and maintain their wellbeing and lifestyle changes after completing the FFIT programme.

About the FFIT For Life Health and Fitness Programme

Over 30 FFIT graduates now meet weekly at Ibrox to take part in a structured fitness programme led by our expert coaches. Sessions are designed to build on the success of the original FFIT course, supporting participants to continue improving their health, fitness, and overall wellbeing.

Jordan Boyd, Community Programmes Manager, explains:

“Our Football Fans in Training courses have achieved astounding results, with participants reporting dramatic improvements in their health, knowledge, and motivation. One group of 64 participants lost a collective 52 stone 12 pounds over a 12-week period.”

“FFIT For Life helps ensure these changes become part of daily life, not just for the duration of the course.”

The programme focuses on both physical activity and health education, covering areas such as:

  • Weight management

  • Exercise and fitness

  • Healthy eating and diet

  • Alcohol awareness

  • Motivation and wellbeing

By combining education with regular exercise, FFIT For Life provides ongoing support for participants to maintain long-term lifestyle changes and continue their journey toward improved health.
