Big Ibrox Sleep Outs

Event Date: Fri 20th November 2026

Sleep Out Art Work

Rangers fans have supported our Big Ibrox Sleep Outs for over a decade now, raising an incredible £408,500 for important charities addressing the causes and effects of homelessness, as well as supporting the Foundation’s own work in the community.

The Sleep Outs have made an incredible impact on tackling homelessness in our city in that time. The events have funded an extra 310 days of Glasgow City’s Mission’s winter provision, directly helping around 6,480 individuals at risk of rough sleeping, as well as supporting a range of other projects including meal provision, Simon Community Scotland’s Connect Hub (a community support space for women), warm winter clothing and sleeping bags, basic toiletries and more.

This season’s Sleep Outs will take place on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st November at Ibrox.  This is your opportunity to sleep outside overnight in our iconic Stadium while raising money for those affected by homelessness.

Sleep Out participants will spend the night either on the technical area pitch-side or in the stand (under cover) if the weather is wet and will get a small glimpse of the nightly conditions experienced by people who are street homeless.

Half the funds raised will benefit the work of Glasgow City Mission and Simon Community Scotland, with the other half of the profits supporting the Rangers Charity Foundation’s life-changing work in the community.

If you can handle spending a cold winter’s night at Ibrox Stadium with just a sleeping bag for warmth, then sign up now and help this very worthy cause!

A registration fee of £20 per person is applicable. Please note that participants must be over 16. Anyone between the ages 16 and 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Glasgow City Mission is the world’s first City Mission and has been at the forefront of compassionate care for the city’s marginalised since 1826, addressing homelessness, poverty, and addiction.

This year, we will again support Glasgow City Mission’s Winter Project and Rapid Rehousing Welcome Centre, which is committed to providing people with routes out of rough sleeping and ensuring they have access to a bed. This approach combines the provision of emergency accommodation with tailored support, enabling people to engage with services and move more quickly towards settled housing.

Trained staff from Glasgow City Mission will once again be based at a local hotel throughout the winter months and are delighted to have access to the safe space again with additional service enhancements this year. All fundraising support will go directly towards providing beds for guests in the coldest months.

Simon Community Scotland believes that everyone deserves a safe place to live and access to the support they need. The charity provides information, care, support, accommodation and homes to people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Simon Community Scotland operates a drop-in support hub, helpline, street team and emergency and supported accommodation sites in Glasgow and North Lanarkshire and also operates in Edinburgh and Perth.

This year Simon Community Scotland will use the funds raised to create vital opportunities and experiences for people experiencing homelessness in Glasgow.

The Foundation would like to thank 32Red for their continued sponsorship of the Big Ibrox Sleep Outs, which has made such a huge difference to the event over the years. Once again, 32Red will provide the first £10 of sponsorship for every participant as well as paying for the well-deserved hot breakfast served in the morning for our participants.
