Craig Denham is proof positive that Football Fans in Training can change your life!

Craig has lost an amazing 6 stone since signing up for the course last March, and was full of praise for the coaches and the programme.  His before and after pictures show just how big a success the course has been for Craig!

“The 12 weeks really got me motivated and as you can see I have kept it going.  I’ve lost just over 6 stone now – 38.7kg or 85 pounds.” 

“I’ve got just 18 pounds to go until I hit my target which I’ll achieve within the 12 month period I set last March when I started the course.  So by then I will have lost 7 stone 4 pounds (104 pounds or 47kg).

“I now run a 10K 3 – 5 days per week to keep it off and eat healthy during the week but “cheat” or “treat” myself big time on match days.”

“I wanted to let the coaches – the excellent Joycey and the tormentor Wullie! – know I appreciate all they do for people like me.”

We have Football Fans in Training courses starting very soon, and we still have a few places left on the Thursday and Friday night course for anyone who is interested.

Eligibility

You should meet ONE of the following criteria –

  • BMI of 27+ (Calculate this by visiting http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/)
  • Belly 100cm+ (measure your waist and go around your belly)
  • Trouser waist size of 37 inches+

Please note that anyone who has previously been on a Fit Fans course will not be able to participate.   

The programme:

The 12 weeks programme includes an initial health check and introductions on the first session, with subsequent sessions being split between classroom health education and physical activity sessions.

The course covers lifestyle issues such as:

  • Weight management
  • Physical activity
  • Diet and healthy eating
  • Alcohol awareness
  • Motivation and well-being

When

Courses on offer start on Thursday 8 and Friday 9 February 2018, 6pm – 8pm.
