Broxi’s Challenge Raises Over £50,000

Wed 24th April 2024

The Foundation’s wonderful supporters have raised over £50,000 so far from the sold out ‘Broxi’s Challenge: Run Your Age’ fundraising event recently held at Ibrox.

Runners were aged between 6-16 years and each participant ran as many laps of the pitch as their age on the day. For example, if the runner was 10, they ran 10 laps of the pitch.

Every participant received their own blank t-shirt to personalise before warming up with Broxi, Roxi and Boris. They then set off round the running track that borders the famous Ibrox turf.

Once they had completed their challenge, the young runners were presented with a medal, certificate and goody bag before meeting Rangers iconic mascot, Broxi, for a photograph.

So far more than 160 young supporters have raised over £150 each, meaning that they will automatically become a True Blue Hero and be invited to one of our special receptions to receive a True Blue Hero medal from a First Team player!

These vital funds help the Rangers Charity Foundation to continue to be a force for good on behalf of the Rangers Family. Thank you to all who supported the event!
