Dream Fund Children’s Christmas Party

Thu 1st December 2022

Children in need of a boost were gifted some festive fun at the Rangers Charity Dream Fund Children’s Christmas Party.

Many in attendance are living with life-limiting illnesses, whilst others have experienced homelessness, and were given a night to remember with a visit from Rangers midfielder Ianis Hagi, Broxi Bear and Santa Claus!

Children nominated for the Dream Fund, including kids from Robin House and others invited by our partners Glasgow City Mission and Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, all enjoyed the fun at Ibrox which involved a magic show, gifts and food.

Event organiser Rachael Cosgrove, Charity Executive at Rangers Charity Foundation, said:

“Christmas is a very special time of year, and through our Dream Fund, we are determined to spread joy to as many children as possible.

“Our young guests are extremely brave in the face of adversity and, although this may only be one small gesture, we hope that the Christmas party will have created memories which will last all year!

“On behalf of everyone at the Foundation, I’d like to express our sincere thanks to all supporters who fundraise throughout the year and make events, such as this, possible. I’d also like to thank Ianis for taking the time to come along and meet the children who were all thrilled to see him!”

The Rangers Charity Dream Fund arranges special Rangers experiences for children and adults whose lives have been impacted by the likes of disability, illness or other difficult circumstances.
