Elior Welcomes Foundation Participants to Special Coffee Morning Events at Ibrox
Fri 19th December 2025
Rangers Football Club’s catering partner, Elior, recently opened the doors of the Members Lounge at Ibrox Stadium to host a series of three special coffee mornings for participants from the Rangers Charity Foundation’s Wider Achievement and Walking Football programmes.
The events, delivered across one week, offered participants the chance to enjoy complimentary food, teas and coffees in the iconic surroundings of Ibrox. The relaxed and welcoming atmosphere provided a valuable opportunity for individuals to socialise, build confidence, and connect with both Foundation staff, fellow programme members and former Rangers players outside their usual session environments.
Adding an extra touch of excitement, ex-Rangers defender Marvin Andrews popped in to talk with our Walking Football group. He spent time chatting with guests, posing for photos, and sharing stories from his playing days.

Participants from the Wider Achievement programme were also given insight into potential job opportunities within Elior. Venue Director, Craig Richardson spoke to Wider Achievement attendees about available roles, career pathways, and the qualities they look for when recruiting, providing valuable information and encouragement for those interested in employment within the hospitality sector.
Community Programmes Manager for the Foundation, Jamie Duncanson said:
“It’s been fantastic to have some of our Wider Achievement schools and also our Walking Football participants over to the stadium for hot food, teas and coffees. I’d like to thank Elior for reaching out and offering to put these coffee mornings on for us as it’s been a great way for us to reward some of the groups before they take a break over Christmas.”
Craig Richardson, Venue Director for Elior added:
“As the main provider for hospitality, I believe it’s important that Elior form an excellent partnership with the Foundation. I felt it was important that we had an open invitation to all the groups from the Foundation, to provide them with a trip to Ibrox during the festive period for a quick roll and coffee. It’s just a good thing to do for everyone at this time of year.
“These coffee mornings also gave us the opportunity to discuss work opportunities with the young people attending the Foundation’s Wider Achievement programme. I’ll be eager to continue these coffee mornings into 2026 and beyond and further strengthen our partnership working.”
The Foundation extends its thanks to Ibrox Stadium Events for hosting the coffee mornings and for their support of these vital programmes.
