Foundation Appoints New Trustees

The Rangers Charity Foundation is delighted to appoint two new trustees: Carol Turnbull and Stuart Gallacher.
Following a rigorous recruitment process, Carol and Stuart join Jacqueline Gourlay, Jim Bruce, Annette Bell and Alex Rae on the Board of Trustees and will bring a wealth of experience to the future strategic development of the Foundation’s life-changing charitable and community work on behalf of the Rangers Family
Carol has 25+ years’ experience of working in further and higher education and is passionate about providing opportunities through education and training for everyone. Previously Principal of Ayrshire College and Chair of Colleges Principals Group, Carol feels her experience and skills will be a good fit with the mission and aims of Rangers Charity Foundation.
Stuart brings 20 years’ experience in the shipbuilding industry in various roles in engineering, supply chain and business development, with a focus on new business and governance. He sits on several Trade Association councils and boards in the UK.
Foundation Chair Jacqueline Gourlay added:
“We’re delighted to have Carol and Stuart on board. With their respective experience in further education and industry, they bring fresh dimensions to our Board at an exciting time for the Foundation following a period of expansion of our community and charity work.
