Foundation Opens New Ibrox Community Complex Kitchen With Support From Howdens

The Rangers Charity Foundation has had a brand-new kitchen installed in the Ibrox Community Complex from kitchen supplier Howdens as part of a partnership with the Scottish FA.
The Foundation was selected as one of the 450 lucky football club related organisations to receive a fantastic new kitchen through the Howdens Game Changer Programme which was launched in 2023 to improve clubhouse facilities at grassroots football clubs across the UK over a three-year period.
Linda Sinclair, Operations Manager for the Foundation said:
“We are thrilled with our much-needed new kitchen. It means that the Ibrox Community Complex can continue to be used by the whole community, from our programme participants to the Rangers Football Club Girl’s Academy and our staff based there.
“It’s great to see first-hand how the Howdens Game Changer Programme is having an impact on grassroots football across the country.”

There is a lot of attention on grassroots football and what happens on the pitch but we believe that off-pitch facilities are just as important. The fit out of the new kitchen was completed by Bell Group UK who regularly complete work for the Foundation, including recent upgrades funded by the SFA and Rangers Football Club.
The Howdens Game Changer Programme was launched by football legends Jill Scott, MBE and Chris Kamara, MBE who lent their support by driving home the importance of grassroots football and clubhouse facilities on their own careers.
