Happy first birthday to the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow!
Fri 1st July 2016
The Royal Hospital for Children recently celebrated its first birthday. Since opening their doors one year ago they have treated over 188,000 babies, children and young people from across Scotland – that’s more than 500 children every single day!
The Rangers Charity Foundation is delighted to continue to work with Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, supporting them to provide enhanced equipment and services at the hospital. Most recently we have helped to fund sensory equipment and play aparatus for the new roof garden, helping to make this a fun and exciting place for children to play and enjoy themselves.
To mark their first birthday, Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, in partnership with NHSGGC and the hospital’s Play Team, hosted a week of very special events. The fun kicked off with a Teddy Bear’s Picnic to mark the opening of the hospital’s new roof garden, which the young patients really enjoyed.
