LEAP Festival Tournament

Tue 11th June 2019

The Rangers Charity Foundation is running a special LEAP Festival Fortnight Tournament on Saturday 29th June which gives participants the opportunity to enjoy a day of football as well as lunch, a tour of our iconic Stadium and an LGBTI workshop.

The Foundation is looking for 12 5-a-side teams to take part, with no more than 8 players in each team.  The round robin format will give each team 7 fifteen minute games at the Ibrox Community Complex next to the Stadium.

The tour of Ibrox Stadium will give participants the opportunity to see behind the scenes, including the home and away dressing rooms, the press room and famous Trophy Room, as well as run down the tunnel and experience the unique atmosphere of the Blue Room and Manager’s Office.

The LGBTI workshop, which lasts approximately 20 minutes, will explore the issues LGBTI people experience in sport and what we can all do to make sport more inclusive.

  • 9.30 – registration and warm up
  • 10am – tournament
  • 12 noon – lunch
  • 1pm – Stadium Tour
  • 2.30pm – LBGTI workshop
