RANGERS FC has today launched a limited-edition poppy kit with a 10% charitable donation from each sale going in support of Poppyscotland.

For the first time ever, supporters will be able to own a home shirt featuring the Scottish poppy on the front as well as the Rangers Charity Foundation scarf logo on the right sleeve.

The men’s first team will wear home shirts featuring the poppy against Kilmarnock on Sunday, October 26 at Ibrox. The shirt worn against Dundee on Remembrance Sunday, November 9 will also feature a poppy. The women’s first team will also wear the home shirt featuring the poppy against Partick Thistle on Sunday, November 9.

The club has understood the demand from supporters for several years to make these kits publicly available, and are proud to now offer them for purchase, with Poppyscotland benefiting from every sale.

Rangers Charity Foundation Chief Executive, Connal Cochrane, said: “We are grateful to Castore and Rangers for the inclusion of a charitable donation from the poppy kits. All charitable donations from this initiative will go to Poppyscotland, with the Foundation making a minimum pledge to donate £5,000 as one of the beneficiaries of our Armed Forces Fund.

“We have a long and proud tradition of supporting our Armed Forces and will be marking Remembrance in the traditional way.

“The Foundation has donated over £261,000 in cash to Armed Forces and Veterans charities to date, as well as significant in-kind support.”

A limited number of tops are available from today in adult sizes online and in all Rangers stores. Junior sizes are available from the Edmiston House and Buchanan Galleries stores.

Poppyscotland provide support for current and former members of the Armed Forces as well as their families, in recognition of their sacrifices and service.

The charity helps countless men, women and families with issues linked to their time in the Armed Forces or with struggles adjusting from military to civilian life.

Services provided by Poppyscotland include financial support, advice, help with mobility issues, housing and mental health.
