Step Up and Play at the new Ibrox Challenge!
Thu 18th July 2019
Rangers and fitness fans alike are being invited to take on the Foundation’s latest event – the ‘Step Up and Play – Ibrox Stair Challenge’!
New for 2019, supporters will be able to work their way around the stands at the home of Rangers Football Club – enough steps to total the equivalent of walking up (and down) the famous Empire State Building!
Suitable for individuals and groups of all fitness levels, this challenge is one everyone can enjoy on Saturday 7th September at 10am.
Participants will weave their way around the iconic Ibrox stadium by climbing up and down the stairs of all four stands, before ultimately crossing the finish line up the marble staircase.
On completion of the challenge, you will be presented with a special event certificate and enjoy light refreshments in the Members Lounge.
We encourage each participant to raise a minimum of £50 sponsorship – but don’t forget! If you raise £100 or more at this heart pumping inaugural event, you’ll also become a True Blue Hero and will be invited to receive a medal from a Rangers first team player at Ibrox.
Rangers Charity Foundation Director, Connal Cochrane, said: “We’re always looking for new, fun events for the supporters to enjoy – and where better than at the home of Rangers!?
“This challenge really is suitable for everyone – from experienced climbers, to people looking to test their fitness and groups who are just looking for an enjoyable day out at Ibrox, in aid of a good cause.
“Every penny raised will go towards helping the Foundation continue to act as a force for good on behalf of the Rangers Family, supporting thousands of people both locally and around the globe.
“Trainers at the ready!”
Sign-up costs just £10 and includes a Rangers Charity Foundation t-shirt and special certificate!
