Well done and thank you very much to programme participant Connor who recently completed his own half marathon for the Foundation finishing at Ibrox Stadium, raising over £533! 👏👏👏
Connor said: "I got into running after I got sober, I haven’t had a drink for over 3 years ...now. I very nearly died due to alcoholism. At first I couldn't even run. I had to walk fast & built myself up from there, the key was staying consistent. I have got myself physically in the best shape of my life. I decided to take on this challenge of a half marathon as a personal challenge, it’s always been me me me, however I wanted it to mean something for others as well.
"I chose the Rangers Charity Foundation due to being supported by them in my recovery from alcoholism. They do amazing work with lots of different groups of people, I have witnessed it myself how hard they all work. It has a special place in my heart & always will.
"Thank you for everything!" 💙
