Big Ibrox Sleep Out
Event Date: Sat 15th November 2025
SOLD OUT
Rangers fans have supported the Rangers Charity Foundation’s Big Ibrox Sleep Outs for a decade now, raising an incredible £358,500 for important charities addressing the causes and effects of homelessness, as well as supporting the Foundation’s own work in the community.
The Foundation couldn’t be prouder of what supporters have achieved and have created a special video celebrating a decade of the Big Ibrox Sleep Outs, which can be viewed HERE.
The Sleep Outs have made an incredible impact on tackling homelessness in the city. The events have funded an extra 310 days of Glasgow City’s Mission’s winter provision, directly helping around 6,000 individuals at risk of rough sleeping, as well as supporting a myriad of other projects including meal provision, Simon Community Scotland’s Connect Hub, warm winter clothing and sleeping bags, basic toiletries and more.

Most importantly, the Foundation is continuing its commitment to helping to end homelessness by announcing its 11th annual Sleep Out events for 2025.
This season’s Sleep Outs will take place on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th November at Ibrox, giving participants the opportunity to sleep outside overnight in Rangers iconic Stadium while raising money for those affected by homelessness.
Sleep Out participants will spend the night either on the technical area pitch-side or in the stand (under cover) if the weather is wet and will get a small glimpse of the nightly conditions experienced by people who are street homeless.
Half the funds raised will benefit the work of Glasgow City Mission and Simon Community Scotland, with the other half of the profits supporting the Rangers Charity Foundation’s life-changing work in the community.
More information about the Sleep Out events can be found HERE.
Glasgow City Mission is the world’s first City Mission and has been at the forefront of compassionate care for the city’s marginalised since 1826, addressing homelessness, poverty, and addiction.

This year, the Sleep Outs will again support Glasgow City Mission’s Winter Project, which is committed to providing people with routes out of rough sleeping and ensuring they have access to a bed.
Glasgow City Mission’s Winter Project Manager, Elyse MacKinnon, commented: “The support of the Rangers Charity Foundation over the past decade has been incredible!
“It has allowed us to expand the winter project and having that extra month each winter has allowed us to support so many people who would have been at risk of rough sleeping.”
“The Rangers supporters have managed to raise just under £277,000 for Glasgow City Mission alone over the years. To the fans who have taken part over the last decade and the ones who are going to do it this year, I truly just want to say thank you.
“It’s amazing what the supporters of the Foundation do, and it’s incredible that ten years later they are still supporting the winter project.”
Simon Community Scotland believes that everyone deserves a safe place to live and access to the support they need. The charity provides information, care, support, accommodation and homes to people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Simon Community Scotland operates a drop-in support hub, helpline, street team and emergency and supported accommodation sites in Glasgow and North Lanarkshire and also operates in Edinburgh and Perth.
This season, the donation from the Sleep Outs to Simon Community Scotland will help to provide basics such as winter clothing (jackets, hats, scarves and gloves) and moving in packs which contain essentials for a new home, as well as supporting the charity’s Connect Hub for women experiencing homelessness.
Murray Easton, Head of Fundraising and Communications at Simon Community Scotland commented: “The support of the Rangers Charity Foundation has been incredible, as its support we can reply upon.
“More people are homeless in Scotland now than ever before and we are at the frontline of that. The last winter was the most challenging we have experienced as a charity – the weather, the number of people rough sleeping or coming into our Hub looking for all kinds of support.
“To know that we’ve got regular support from the Rangers Charity Foundation is so important.”

David Henson, Supporter Engagement and Events Executive, Rangers Charity Foundation added: “Our supporters have been incredible over the last decade, raising over £358,000 for homeless charities via the Big Ibrox Sleep Outs, as well as additional funds for the Foundation’s own work in the community and with its charity partners.
“They have really taken this particular cause to heart. I think homelessness is something many of us see in the city every day, so it really struck a chord with fans and the Sleep Outs were a great way to get involved and do something positive while at the same time having the experience of spending the night in our iconic Stadium.”
“We hope our 11th annual Sleep Outs continue to be a huge success and help two vital causes working to end homelessness in Glasgow.
“The Foundation would also like to thank 32Red for their continued sponsorship of the Big Ibrox Sleep Outs, which has made such a huge difference to the event over the years. Once again 32Red will provide the first £10 of sponsorship for every participant as well as paying for the delicious hot breakfast served in the morning at this year’s events.”
