Whether you know what you want to organise or need some inspiration we are here to help every step of the way. No matter what kind of activity you decide to take on, every single pound you raise will help the Rangers Charity Foundation be there to make a difference to people who need us both in the local community, nationally and across the world!
Organising an event can be a great way to support charity and enjoy a fun day with friends and family at the same time. Playing to your strengths when choosing an event ensures your fundraising will not only be successful but enjoyable too!
Whether it is running a marathon, organising a race night or even just having a small BBQ with friends, anything goes when it comes to fundraising activities. Have a look at some of our ideas below to get you started.
Thrill Seeking Ideas
If you want to get that adrenalin rush then the sky is literally the limit. You could arrange to do a sponsored sky dive or go bungee jumping. If you really want to make a splash then you take a dip and go swimming with sharks*
Sport & Endurance Ideas
If you fancy yourself as a bit of an athlete then why not arrange to do something sporty. You could sign up to a marathon or even climb a mountain. If that doesn’t sound like your cup of tea then you could even setup your own charity tournament where you can play your favourite sport.
You don’t have to be an athlete or want to seek that adrenalin rush. You could also organise your own event like a bake sale or a ladies lunch and if you want that party atmosphere then why not setup up a dinner dance or a karaoke night.
The Rangers Charity Foundation has an information pack available to anyone considering organising an event in support of the Foundation. If you have an idea for a fundraiser, register your event with us and we will aim to help you as much as possible.
*Please note that the Rangers Charity Foundation cannot help organise more extreme thrill seeking events but will support you with publicity.
