Big Hearted Bears Day to Raise Money for Rangers Charity Dream Fund
Thu 17th August 2017
Rangers fans will be able to support the new Rangers Charity Dream Fund on Big Hearted Bears Day this Saturday at Ibrox.
The Foundation will have a team of volunteers situated around the Stadium selling pin badges for £2 with the money raised being added to the Fund and used to support the Foundation’s work in the community.
The Rangers Charity Dream Fund will be used to pay for special Rangers experiences throughout the season for children and adults whose life has been impacted by the likes of disability, illness or other difficult circumstance.
The Foundation already organises special Dream Days at Ibrox and the training ground where fans can meet the whole first team squad as well as arranging matchday visits and goodie bags for children and adults in hospital. The new Fund will allow the Foundation to expand this work and also include matchday hospitality options.
Rangers Manager Pedro Caixinha today urged supporters to get behind Big Hearted Bears Day and raise money for the new Fund.
He said: “It’s great that the Foundation can reach even more people in need of a lift thanks to the new Rangers Charity Dream Fund which I am sure the fans will really get behind.
“The Dream Days are always a highlight for myself and the players as well as the people who come along and we very much enjoy their visits to the training ground.”
To be considered for a Rangers Charity Dream Fund experience children and adults must be nominated using a nomination form.
All nominees will be considered individually by the Foundation with successful applications being offered one experience at the Foundation’s discretion.
Nominations can only be made once but can be made at any time by filling out the nomination form and emailing it to email@example.com or posting it to Rangers Charity Foundation, Argyle House, Ibrox Stadium, 150 Edmiston Drive, Glasgow, G51 2XD.
Fans will be able to fundraise on selected occasions throughout the season in support of the Rangers Charity Dream Fund and we also welcome individual donations.
