Volunteers needed for Kilmarnock match
Thu 19th October 2017
Are you coming to Rangers match against Kilmarnock on Wednesday and do you have some time to spare before kick-off? If you do we would really appreciate your help!
For the first time at a match we will have our own designated Rangers Charity Foundation Hub next to the Rangers Fan Zone and would love it if some volunteers could come along and help make more fans aware of how they can support their Foundation.
We will be handing out leaflets from our Foundation branded pop-up stall telling supporters about our latest news and events, encouraging fans to make their own True Blue Hero Pledge, sign up to our newsletter and giving them the chance to win a signed Rangers shirt.
You don’t need any training or special skills to help out – you just need to be happy to chat to fellow supporters.
Anyone who volunteers for us on Wednesday will be able to put their hours towards our expanded True Blue Hero campaign.
From now on, everyone who volunteers 25 hours of their time or more to any of our designated projects will be recognised as a True Blue Hero in the same way as those who fundraise £100 or more for us by taking on a personal challenge! The donation of time is so important to us and we hope this is a way to show our volunteers how much they are appreciated.
As a True Blue Hero each volunteer who reaches the 25 hour target will be invited along to an exclusive reception at Ibrox to be presented with a True Blue Hero medal and pin badge by a First Team player!
On Wednesday we need volunteers who can get to the Rangers Charity Foundation Hub next to the Fan Zone across from the corner of the Main Stand and Copland Road Stand for 6pm and can stay up to around kick-off time.
To take part, or if you have any questions please send us an email to rangerscharity@rangers.co.uk or give us a call on 0141 580 8775. Registering helps us know who to look out for on the night and means we can keep you updated with any changes.
