Recovery Drop In

Our Recovery Drop In sessions, run in partnership with South Community Recovery Network, grew from our Recovery With Rangers programme, giving those who have begun a new journey post addiction with the chance to continue to access peer support following completion of the course.

Recovery Drop In provides a safe and friendly place to meet and are free and open to anyone who is recovering from addiction. The committee is also able to refer attendees to other recovery initiatives around the city, providing further opportunities for support.

Thanks to the funding from the National Lottery we currently run two Recovery Drop In sessions per week with each one offering something different. To find out what’s available, take a look below.

MONDAYS

Our Monday sessions take place at the Ibrox Study Centre between 6:30pm and 8:30pm. Available during our Monday sessions we have:

  • Food, tea and coffee
  • Table tennis
  • Internet access
  • Bingo and quizzes
  • Xbox
  • Peer led recovery support group

WEDNESDAYS

Our Wednesday sessions take place at the Ibrox Community Complex (across from the main stand) between 12:00pm and 3:00pm. Available during our Wednesday sessions we have:

  • Food, tea and coffee
  • Free football access
  • Trauma counsellor access*
  • Peer led recovery support group

*please note that trauma counsellor access is on a needs referral basis.
